The road referred to by the Deputy is a county road and accordingly any works undertaken on it fall to be financed from the county council's funds supplemented by general road grants. The "block grant" for Dublin County Council amounts to £577,000 for 1978. The timing and execution of such works is a matter for decision by the council.
