The person referred to has been in receipt of disability benefit since 30 September 1977. Regular payment of benefit to her was interrupted because of her failure to attend for examination by a medical referee of my Department on 9 February last.
On receipt of her explanation and a note from her doctor, payment was restored on 1 March. Future payments will issue as medical certificates are received and a new date will be fixed for the medical examination.
