asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport if he will state in respect of Aer Rianta, Dublin Port and Docks Board and Irish Shipping Limited (a) the salary and total emoluments of the respective chief officers of these bodies and (b) whether the chief executive officers of these bodies receive fees in respect of their membership of other bodies, boards or councils and so on.

The total remuneration of the chief executive of Aer Rianta Teo., over which I have statutory control, is £13,198. This rate of remuneration is personal to the present holder of the post. He has also the use of a company car. He is not in receipt of fees in respect of membership of any other bodies.
The remuneration of the general manager of Dublin Port and Docks Board and Irish Shipping Ltd. is determined by the respective boards and I do not have any statutory function in this matter nor in respect of membership of other bodies, boards or councils. The general manager of Irish Shipping Ltd. receives the standard fee of £800 as a director of Irish Shipping Ltd.
