The Mater Hospital is one of the six major hospitals proposed for Dublin.
The planning of the development of the hospital is at present being undertaken by a project team comprising representatives of the hospital and of my Department. Pending detailed planning, it is not possible to say how the hospital will ultimately be developed or what the site requirements will be.
