Under the proposals for the development of hospital services in Dublin, it is envisaged that St. Michael's Hospital, and St. Columcille's Hospital will have a close working relationship with St. Vincent's Hospital.
Discussions are, at present, taking place on the feasibility of closer cooperation between the three hospitals in the provision of services but the question of a change in the status of St. Michael's Hospital has not arisen.
