The special allowance award referred to by the Deputy expired on 31 January 1978, but the local social welfare officer was unable to submit an up-to-date report on means as the person had changed his address without notifying my Department.
Every effort is being made to have the report completed as quickly as possible and to have a fresh award of special allowance made to the person concerned.
