My Department have allocated State grants totalling £57,067 for the group water scheme to serve 175 houses approximately in Corrandulla. Work may commence at any time once the group obtain a road opening licence and arrange the necessary insurances.

The progress of the Caherlistrane group water scheme has been delayed because a local landowner objected to the group's proposal to use Lough Hackett as the source of the scheme. Investigations are being made to see if an alternative source of supply can be arranged.
