Vol. 306 No. 11

Written Answers. - County Dublin School.

138.

asked the Minister for Education if he will state, in relation to Question No. 470 of 18 April 1978, where the new school building referred to will be provided; and if it will be possible to transfer some of the pre-fabricated buildings currently adjoining St. Colmcille's national school, County Dublin to the new site, in order to start the school there at the earliest possible date.

The proposed new school at Loughlinstown will be situated at Loughlinstown Estate, adjacent to Achill Road.

Regarding the question of transfer of the prefabricated units, in which the school at present operates, to the site of the new school, my Department are not aware of the need for such transfer. Any such application, if made by the reverend chairman of the board of management, would need to be specially considered, having regard to the costs involved.
