: The following table shows the estimated number of permanent and temporary male employees engaged in farm work in each county in June 1976 and the number of tractors on agricultural holdings in June 1975—the latest years for which this information is available. The 1976 figures for males engaged in farm work are based on sample returns covering approximately 50 per cent of the area of the country. The 1975 figures for tractors are the result of a full enumeration.
