: In October 1977 the EEC Commission submitted to the Council of Ministers a report on the respective merits of the systems of premiums and intervention measures in the beef and veal sector together with proposals for amendments to the common organisation of the market in these products. The proposals are still before the Council and it is expected that the examination of them will be resumed later this year.
