An examination of a sample of files reveals that, on average, ten weeks elapses between receipt of an application and approval of a grant and a further 14 weeks between the granting of approval and payment of a grant.

This grant will be paid shortly. Current delays in processing applications for improvement grants are due to the quite unprecedented demand for the grants, particularly in the Dublin area.
