With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 427, 428, and 429 together.

Bord na Móna are erecting an additional briquette factory at Littleton, County Tipperary, which is planned to come into operation in 1980 and which will provide employment for 120 persons; have a maximum output of 130,000 tonnes of briquettes per annum and is estimated to cost £7 million.

In addition, an exhaustive examination of the economics of the development of the Derryfadda group of bogs in Galway and Roscommon, including the consideration of the feasibility of using the peat from these bogs for the manufacture of briquettes, is now being carried out.
