asked the Minister for Education what constitutes provisional recognition by his Department of a national school; if there is a minimum number of pupils below which a national school will not be recognised, and, if so, if he will state the number.
Written Answers. - National School Recognition.
482.
Provisional recognition is accorded where initial enrolments are low but there are grounds for anticipating an increase in enrolments. The position is kept under review and, if the increased enrolments do not materialise, recognition may be teminated. The required minimum number is related to the circumstances of the individual case.
