andMr. Keating asked the Minister for Education if the post-primary school for Leixlip, County Kildare, which his predecessor in office promised would open in September 1979, will so open at that time.

andMr. Clinton asked the Minister for Education if the agreement of VEC and religious order interests has (1) been sought and (2) been obtained for a particular type of post primary school which is proposed for Leixlip, County Kildare.

It is expected that building of the community school at Leixlip could be commenced in summer 1979 and be completed for occupation by September 1980. In the matter of the deed of trust, I would refer the Deputies to my reply to Questions Nos. 19, 20 and 21.
