My Department are prepared to assist members of the public in obtaining information relative to the Community including information in relation to grants and benefits. In addition the Deputy will be aware that the Commission of the European Communities maintains an office in Dublin where information of the type referred to in his question can be obtained.
In the circumstances it is not the Government's intention to establish an advice centre.
