Written Answers. - Meath State-Aided Companies.

193.

asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy the number and names of State-aided companies established in County Meath since 1960; the amount of public money paid to each of them; and the number of jobs provided by each of the companies.

198.

asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy, the amount of public money spent in the form of grants and aids to new companies just establishing themselves, or to older established companies in County Meath in the years since 1970 to the latest date for which figures are available.

199.

asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Energy the number and names of State-aided companies in County Meath that have failed since 1960; the amount of public money in the form of grants and aid paid to each of these companies; and the number of jobs lost by each of these companies as a result of their closure.

With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 193, 198 and 199 together.

In the time available since the questions were received it has not been possible to compile the information sought. If the Deputy repeats the questions in about two weeks I expect to be in a position to reply.
