On a point of order, a Cheann Comhairle, could you enlighten the House as to whether it is the Government's job to provide a quorum for the House?

The Ceann Comhairle does not come in until there is a quorum.
It is the Government's job to provide a quorum. It is now 2.40 p.m. and for the past ten minutes the Government party have not provided the 20 Dáil Deputies necessary to form a quorum. That shows a disgraceful disregard for the dignity of the House.
