A Cheann Comhairle, I beg leave to state, for the information of the Dáil, that the Government today accepted the resignation of Deputy Patrick Joseph Lalor from office as Minister of State at the Department of the Taoiseach and at the Department of Defence; and appointed Deputy Michael J.Woods to each of those offices, with effect from 1 July 1979.
