andMr. P. Barry asked the Minister for Finance the meetings, if any, he has attended of the EEC Council of Ministers since 21 March 1979 and in respect of each meeting (a) the date, (b) the agenda, (c) the decisions taken, (d) when the next meeting is to take place and the matters to be discussed at that meeting.

The proceedings of the Council of Ministers are confidential. I feel it is possible, however, to give the information in the attached statement.

The next meeting of the Council of Economics and Finance Ministers will take place on 16 July 1979. The agenda has not yet been agreed by the Committee of Permanent Representatives.

Barry asked the Minister for the Public Service the meetings, if any, he has attended of the EEC Council of Ministers since 21 March 1979 and in respect of each meeting (a) the date, (b) the agenda, (c) the decisions taken, (d) when the next meeting is to take place and the matters to be discussed at that meeting.

In my capacity as Minister for the Public Service I have not attended any meetings of the EEC Council of Ministers. No such meetings are currently planned.

andMr. Boland asked the Minister for Health the meetings, if any, he has attended of the EEC Council of Ministers since 21 March 1979 and in respect of each meeting (a) the date, (b) the agenda, (c) the decisions taken, (d) when the next meeting is to take place and the matters to be discussed at that meeting.

I have not attended any EEC Council of Ministers for Health since 21 March 1979. No arrangements have been made for such a Council in the current year.

andMr. Boland asked the Minister for Social Welfare the meetings, if any, he has attended of the EEC Council of Ministers since 21 March 1979 and in respect of each meeting (a) the date, (b) the agenda, (c) the decisions taken, (d) when the next meeting is to take place and the matters to be discussed at that meeting.

I have not attended any meeting of the EEC Council of Ministers since 21 March 1979. The next meeting of the Council of Social Affairs Ministers is provisionally fixed for 27 November 1979. The agenda for that meeting is not yet available.

andMr. Deasy asked the Minister for Tourism and Transport the meetings if any, he has attended of the EEC Council of Ministers since 21 March 1979 and in respect of each meeting (a) the date, (b) the agenda, (c) the decisions taken, (d) when the next meeting is to take place and the matters to be discussed at that meeting.

No meeting of the EEC Council of Ministers (Transport) has been held since 21 March 1979. The next meeting is planned for 6 December 1979. The agenda for that meeting has not yet been settled.

No meeting was held which it would have been appropriate for me to attend in my capacity as Minister for Posts and Telegraphs nor is any such meeting scheduled at present.
