The number of decisions and resolutions adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in the last two years exceeds 500.
The definitive record of the adoption of these resolutions and decisions, together with the voting thereon, is contained in the final verbatim records of the Plenary sessions of the General Assembly. These records are received in the Dáil Library, but publication for the last two years is not complete and these documents are not, in any event, a source of easy reference.
In the circumstances, I am arranging to have placed in the Dáil Library a set of releases issued by the UN Office for Press and Information which contain the texts of resolutions and decisions adopted by the General Assembly during the last two years together with the complete voting record in each case. These are not an official record but are understood to be generally accurate.
