I have been informed that the school authorities are considering recommending an alternative site to that which was already approved for the school building. I am awaiting a further communication from them in this matter.

My Department will not be in a position to sanction a grant towards the cost of the new school at Ballintubber, Claremorris, until the amount of the local contribution has been agreed and satisfactory evidence of title to the site has been furnished.
