asked the Minister for Agriculture why a land reclamation grant of £1,805 has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

asked the Minister for Agriculture why a farm modernisation grant of £2,837 for a slatted outhouse has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 401 to 403, inclusive, together.
In the first case listed above the farmer did not notify my Department that the work had been completed. Nevertheless a final inspection was carried out on 31 October and the grant will be paid shortly. In the two other cases, which relate to the same person, the applicant's notification of completion of work was received on 8 October only and a final inspection was made shortly afterwards. The land reclamation grant was paid last week and the other will be paid shortly.
