The file in this case is with my Department's inspector for investigation and report with a view to the allocation and payment of grants, if in order. Evidence of planning permission for the installation of the septic tank will, however, be required before payment can be made.

A grant of £75 under the old scheme was paid by my Department in this case on 4 May 1978 for the installation of piped water and sewerage facilities. There is no record of a reconstruction grant application in the Department. I have arranged, however, for the necessary form and explanatory memorandum to be sent to this person.

This applicant was paid a reconstruction grant of £200 and a water and sewerage grant of £75 by my Department on 22 June 1978 and 4 July 1978 respectively. It is understood that supplementary grants will be paid shortly by Meath County Council.
