I presume that what the Deputy has in mind is the trial by juries in the High Court of civil actions for negligence arising out of traffic accidents.
The matter is still under examination and, until it has been considered and decided on by the Government, as I hope it can be fairly soon, I can make no further comment on it.
By whom is the matter under examination?
It is under examination by me as Minister for Justice and my departmental officials. I will be in a position to make a submission on it to the Government, as I said in the original answer, fairly soon. I will try to do it by Christmas and I hope I can do that.
