Vol. 318 No. 1

Written Answers. - Leopardstown Park Hospital.

550.

asked the Minister for Health if he is aware of the shortage of beds for long stay patients as well as geriatric patients in Leopardstown Park Hospital, with the exception of a number of beds provided there for the use of patients from St. Vincent's Hospital no extra beds have been provided, and if he will ensure that extra beds are provided without delay.

The making of arrangements for the admission of additional patients to this hospital is primarily a matter for the board of management. The board has arrangements in train to make additional beds available for geriatric patients.
