Apart from appointments (a) made as a result of competitions conducted by the Civil Service Commissioners (b) arising in the normal course of promotion and (c) to posts listed as scheduled occupations in the First Schedule to the Civil Service Commissioners Act, 1956, Mrs. C. Madden, a Personal Assistant within the Public Service, was appointed as Clerical Officer. The salary scale for the grade is £55.48-£95.87.
