This is an application for registration under section 49 of the Registration of Title Act, 1964—registration of title acquired by long possession. It was received in the Land Registry on 11 February 1980. The processing of any such application must necessarily take some time and in this particular case certain queries had to be raised and were issued to the solicitors on 29 February 1980. No reply has been received to date. Accordingly the suggestion that there has been delay in the case in the Land Registry is not justified.
