asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received proposals from Dún Laoghaire Corporation for the purpose of constructing the road scheme known as Blackrock by-pass, stage 2, Frascati Road-Temple Hill, Blackrock, County Dublin, if he will sanction the proposal and when he expects work to commence on the scheme.

Outline proposals received in my Department from Dún Laoghaire Corporation on 24 March 1980 for the construction of the Blackrock By-Pass, Stage 2, have been examined.
Further consideration of the proposals will require submission by the corporation of traffic proposals for the road network in the general area and details of junction treatments. The corporation have been asked by letter of 29 April to provide this information. I am not in a position at this stage to say when work will commence on the scheme.
