An initial capital allocation of £900,000 for the payment of house purchase, low rise mortgage and improvement loans and supplementary grants in the six month period ending on 30 June 1980, was notified to Donegal County Council on 11 March last. The council indicated recently that this amount had been fully expended and a supplementary allocation of £200,000 has been made to enable the council to meet the anticipated demand for payments to the end of June. A further allocation will be made to the council in due course in respect of the six month period ending on 31 December 1980.
