Statistics of road traffic accidents are processed and published annually by An Foras Forbartha in their publication "Road Accident Facts", based on information supplied by An Garda Síochána. The information published is not compiled in the form requested. However, the published statistics show that numbers of goods vehicles (including articulated vehicles) involved in fatal accidents for the years 1970 and 1978 were as follows: 1970, 106; 1978, 116.
Statistics for the year 1979 have not yet been published.
