asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applicants awaiting telephone service in Glendown estate. Templeogue, Dublin 12; and when service will be provided for them.

There are 15 waiting applicants. Service will be provided when underground cabling works on which the provision of service is dependent are completed about mid 1981.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applicants awaiting telephone service in the Old Bawn area, Tallaght, County Dublin; and when service will be provided for them.

The number of waiting applicants is 21. Service will be provided when the underground cabling works, on which provision of service is dependent, are completed about mid 1981.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applicants awaiting telephone service in Willington estate, Templeogue, Dublin 12; and when telephone service will be provided for them.

There are 29 waiting applicants. Service will be provided when underground cabling works on which provision of service is dependent are completed about the middle of next year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applicants awaiting telephone service in Springfield, Belgard Heights, Tallaght, County Dublin; and when telephone service will be provided for them.

There are about 50 applicants in Springfield and 110 in Belgard Heights. Service will be provided in both areas as soon as necessary underground cabling schemes are completed about the end of this year.

Service will be provided when the cabling works on which the provision of service is dependent are carried out in the second half of next year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applicants awaiting telephone service in Kilnamanagh estate, Tallaght, County Dublin; and when telephone service will be provided for them.

The number of waiting applicants is about 600. Service will be provided on a phased basis according as cabling works are completed early next year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the severe hardship caused to the staff of the Divine Word national school, Marley Grange, Rathfarnham, Dublin 16, due to the lack of a telephone service; and when a service will be provided.

It is expected that service will be provided within the next three months or so.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applicants awaiting telephone service at Oldcourt, Tallaght, County Dublin; and when service will be provided.

There are nine waiting applicants. Terms have been quoted recently to eight of them and it is expected that terms will be quoted shortly to the remaining applicant. Service will be provided within three months from the dates of agreements.

Terms have just been quoted and service will be provided within three months from signing of an agreement.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applicants awaiting telephone service in the Orwell estate, Templeogue, Dublin 12; and when service will be provided for them.

There are 46 waiting applicants. Service will be provided when cabling works on which provision of service is dependent are carried out about mid 1981.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the number of applicants awaiting telephone service in the Kingswood Heights, Tallaght, County Dublin; and when service will be provided for them.

The number of waiting applicants is about 460. Service will be provided on a phased basis as soon as the necessary underground cabling is completed about the end of this year.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs the reason for the delay in the provision of telephone service for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when service will be provided.

The delay has been due to the heavy construction work involved which, because of the volume of other engineering work requiring attention in the area, could not be undertaken until now. It is expected that service will be provided within the next four to six weeks.
