Vol. 322 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Telephone Service.

6.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when telephone service will be provided for applicants in (i) Lansdowne Park, Knocklyon Rd., Templeogue, and (ii) Dargle Wood estate, Knocklyon, Dublin.

Provision of telephone service at Lansdowne Park is dependent on the installation of major underground cabling and of additional exchange equipment which is not expected to be completed until about mid-1981. Cabling to Dargle Wood estate is expected to be completed within the next two months and about 25 priority applicants will then be offered service. The remaining applications concerned will be met when additional exchange equipment is installed about mid-1981.
