asked the Minister for Defence (i) the number of naval personnel who transferred to the Army in each of the years 1970 to 1979, inclusive, (ii) the number of Defence Force personnel who transferred to the Naval Service in the same period, (iii) the number of personnel who requested transfers or who transferred to the Naval Service from the beginning of this year to date, (iv) the number, rank, and duties of army personnel stationed in the naval base at Haulbowline or attached to the naval service.
