asked the Minister for the Environment if he is aware of the distress of tenants of an estate (details supplied) in Dublin regarding a possible 300 per cent increase in their present rents; and the action he will take to prevent such an exorbitant increase.
I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 283 and 284 together.
These matters are ones between the owners of private rented accommodation and their tenants and I have no powers or functions in their regard.
