A number of items of cultural or historical interest under the control of my Department are already on display including a number of works of art at the State airports, items of historical interest in the Aviation Museum at Dublin Airport and a number of antique meteorological instruments on permanent display at the new Meteorological Service Headquarters at Glasnevin. I am in favour of such displays and will encourage them within the limits of the opportunities and resources available.
