: The amount allocated by Regulation 1820/80/EEC from the European Argicultural Guidance and Guarantee Fund for the stimulation of agricultural development over a 10-year period in the less-favoured areas of the West of Ireland is approximately £150 million. This will be matched by a substanial Exchequer contribution. The proposed expenditure on the various measures is set out below.
