asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when a telephone service will be provided for a person (details supplied) in Dublin.

: Within the next three months or so.

367.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs when 12 telephone lines which were applied for in January 1977 will be installed in a premises (details supplied) in Dublin in view of the fact that there are 50 people employed in the 12 industrial units at this address.

: The application referred to which was made in October 1978, was in effect, advance notification that 12 telephone lines would be required later. Individual applications have been made since then by seven occupiers of the development. One line was provided in February 1979, on foot of the first application, which was for two lines; service cannot be provided to the other applicants until underground cabling works, on which provision of service is dependent, are carried out about mid-1981.

368.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will have the application for telephone service of a person (details supplied) in Dublin expedited as a matter of urgency in view of the fact that she is a widow living alone.

: Service cannot be provided to this applicant until cabling works on which provision of service is dependent are carried out. Because of the volume of other engineering work on hands in the Dublin area at present it is unlikely that this work will be undertaken for at least another year.
