The Committee of Selection reports that in exercise of its power under Standing Order 112 (2) of the Standing Orders relative to Public Business it has added, for the purpose of considering the Social Welfare (Consolidation) Bill, 1980, the following Members to the Select Committee which is joined to the similar Select Committee of the Seanad to constitute the Standing Committee of the Seanad to constitute the Standing Joint Committee on Consolidation Bills: Bertie Ahern, John Boland and John O'Connell.
