The reason for the delay in paying unemployment benefit or assistance in this case is that in order to establish whether the person concerned satisfied the statutory conditions for entitlement, certain protracted inquiries had to be made regarding his previous employments.
These inquiries have now been completed and the person concerned is entitled to unemployment benefit. Arrangements have been made to have all arrears due paid to him this week.
