asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism when it is proposed to provide an advance factory at (a) Foxford, (b) Crossmolina, (c) Swinford and (d) Kilkelly, County Mayo.
I am informed that the Industrial Development Authority are considering the construction of an advance factory on their 3.6 acre site in Foxford, as part of the next phase of their advance factory programme.
The Authority have 2.2 acres available in Swinford and they are promoting this site for a suitable industrial project.
The IDA have no plans at present for the construction of advance factories at Crossmolina or Kilkelly but these locations as well as Swinford will be borne in mind when future programmes are being drawn up.
