Notification that work has been completed has not been received from this applicant. On receipt of such a notification the grant will be paid if an inspection confirms that work has been satisfactorily completed and is eligible for grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment the reasons for the long delay to-date in the payment of a home improvement grant to a person (details supplied) in County Tipperary.
Any delay in dealing with this case is due to the huge number of applications for housing grants being processed in my Department. An inspection with a view to payment of a grant will be carried out as soon as possible.
