asked the Taoiseach the number of people unemployed in the country at the latest date for which figures are available and if he will express this number as a percentage of the total work-force; and if he will give this information in respect of each region.

Would the Minister give the House the first figure asked for, the number of people unemployed at the latest date?
I have given it several times.
They do not know and they do not care.
If the Deputy puts down a separate question, I shall have the information for him.
I shall allow a final supplementary from Deputy Kelly.
The answers to these questions come complete with tabular statements which are then circulated immediately. Is the Minister saying that in his folder there is no copy of the tabular statement that he is to circulate?
Has the Deputy even read the question?
Does the tabular statement which the Minister has sought the permission of the Chair to circulate contain the first figure of those which Deputy Deasy asked for, that is, the number of people unemployed at the latest date for which figures are available?
The tabular statement giving the information sought is being circulated.
I am calling Question No. 9.
The Minister has got your permission to circulate a tabular statement and I am asking whether that document contains the figure that has been referred to.
Since the Deputy persists, I can tell him that the figure is 125,060.
Is that the number registered?
I will not allow a debate on this.
It is the number of persons on the Life Register.
I have called Question No. 9.
