asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism the total annual rent paid by his Department and each semi-State body under the aegis of his Department for office accommodation in the city of Dublin; the rent per square foot for each office per annum; the length of time to the next rent review; and the property company or landlord to whom the rent is paid.

My Department are not responsible for the payment of rent for their office accommodation. The provision of accommodation for my Department is a matter for the Office of Public Works.

The renting of office accommodation by semi-State bodies is a matter for the day-to-day administration of the bodies themselves and one in which I have no function.

My Department do not rent office accommodation. The information sought by the Deputy in regard to semi-State bodies is a matter for them.

The information sought by the Deputy in regard to semi-State bodies is a matter for them and one in which I have no function.

The assembly of the information required relative to my Department will take some time to compile and co-ordinate and I shall be glad therefore if the Deputy will repeat the question in two weeks.
