asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism the plans the IDA have for the provision of industry at Rosscarbery, County Cork.

The Industrial Development Authority are actively promoting for industrial development a five-acre site owned by Cork County Council in Rosscarbery. Rosscarbery is in the catchment area of both Dunmanway and Skibbereen where significant industrial development is taking place.

The Industrial Development Authority recently announced that they had approved grant assistance for two projects locating in Bandon. These projects have a combined job potential in excess of 80 at full production.

asked the Minister for Industry, Commerce and Tourism the plans the IDA have for the provision of industry at Schull, County Cork.

I am informed by the Industrial Development Authority that they have recently concluded negotiations for the purchase of a 3.5 acre site at Schull, County Cork for which outline planning permission has been obtained. The IDA will vigorously promote this site for suitable industrial development.
