asked the Minister for Agriculture the reason for the delay in providing a house on the mainland at Clifden for a person (details supplied) in County Galway who is one of the Inish-turbot families whom the Land Commission agreed in 1972 should be transferred to the mainland; and the steps that will be taken to provide a house for this person's family in the near future.

The person in question is already living on the mainland in a house of his own. Attempts by the Land Commission to provide more suitable alternative accommodation have met with difficulties but proposals to resolve the matter are being pursued.
