Mr. Aylward

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the Land Commission will divide the Costigan estate, Rathbane, Galmoy, County Kilkenny.

It is hoped to have proposals for the division of these lands drawn up towards the end of next year.

asked the Minister for Agriculture the names of all estates in County Offaly held by the Land Commission; the estates acquired to date in 1981; the estates which will be divided in the next 12 months; and the area of each estate.

Mr. Keegan

asked the Minister for Agriculture if the Land Commission have allocated the Molloy estate, Kilpatrick, Bunbrosna, Mullingar, County Westmeath; and the reason land was not allocated to persons (details supplied) in County Westmeath.

These lands were allotted recently. The application by the persons mentioned was fully considered but having regard to the claims of other applicants and to the limited area of land available for disposal it was not found possible to provide them with an allotment.

Mr. Keegan

asked the Minister for Agriculture if the Land Commission are considering the application for land made by a person (details supplied) in County Westmeath.

The applicant has been interviewed by a Land Commission inspector and the relevant information is on record for consideration in connection with proposals for the division of land in his neighbourhood.
