asked the Minister for the Environment the schemes that have been approved under the environmental improvement scheme programme for County Donegal for 1981-82.
I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to take Questions Nos. 484 and 485 together.
The selection of works for execution under the environmental improvement schemes programme is the responsibility of the local authority. Donegal County Council were notified of an allocation of £180,000 under the programme for the period ending 31 March 1982. The council have not yet submitted a list of schemes to absorb this allocation but I understand that they will do so shortly.
