Payment will be made in this case if and when an inspection establishes that the work qualifies for a grant.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will pay a new house grant which is due under the pre-1977 scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Leitrim.
The latest date for claiming payment of grants allocated under the pre-1977 scheme was 31 January 1980. As a claim for payment of the balance — £250 — of the grant in this case was not received by that date, I regret that payment cannot now be made.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for a final inspection and payment of a £1,000 new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.
When an inspection establishes that the House has been completed and occupied and that the conditions applying to the grant scheme have been complied with, a grant will be paid. The inspection will be carried out as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for the immediate inspection and payment of a £1,000 new house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.
When the applicants submit the documentation required to process the application, as requested on 27 October 1981 their eligibility will be investigated and an inspection arranged with a view to payment of a grant, if in order.

asked the Minister for the Environment if he will arrange for the immediate payment of an improvement grant under the previous grants scheme to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.
Under the Housing Regulations, 1980, as amended, it was necessary for the payment of a house improvement grant that the works be satisfactorily completed and a claim for payment received in the Department on or before 30 June 1981. As this statutory requirement was not complied with in this case the grant cannot be paid.
