The Commissioners of Public Works have received a proposal under the Coast Protection Act, 1963, from Dublin County Council for a coast protection scheme at The Burrow, Portrane. The preliminary examination of this proposal has been carried out and a report is under consideration with a view to making a determination under section 4 of the 1963 Act on whether the circumstances are such that the preparation and execution of a scheme is feasible.
