I take it that the Deputy is referring to copies of entries in the Adopted Children Register which may be obtained from the Ard-Chláraitheóir in the same way as the long form of the birth certificate and that what he is advocating is a change in the law to enable some new kind of certificate to be issued which would not reveal the fact that the person concerned is an adopted person.
I am having the matter examined and I will communicate with the Deputy when the examination is completed.
